Amok Studios creates entertainment formats for on-line and traditional broadcasting based on computer gaming for broad audiences. Our formats comes with an extensive on-line community and traditional broadcasting fully integrated. The unique technology we have developed allows filming inside the games and producing entertaining, innovative TV formats in the sports and entertainment genres.

 

In 2007, Amok created the format Virtual Grand Prix, the first ever virtual car racing championship on TV which TV4 bought and broadcasted in Sweden. In 2008 we created the live e-sports TV format World of Warcraft - SK WoW does Sunwell, for Joost, which was distributed globally. In 2008, Amok also developed a new format based on FIFA 08/09, to which TV4 acquired the rights and broadcasted in Sweden. We have also developed, but not yet produced, our most ambitious TV format yet, based on a best-selling music game. 2009 has seen a vast interest in Amok’s formats from broadcasters in the Nordic countries and continental Europe.
